4 November 2015 - SE15 Moved to Taronga

On the 4 November SE15 was transferred to the Taronga Wildlife Hospital for on going care.

31 October 2015 - SE15 Misses the nest

On the 31 of October he was trying to jump back to the nest and miss judged and ended up in branches below the nest. After a day there his attempt to get back to the nest resulted in him falling 15 meters to the ground. Judy and Geoff were notified and rescued him within half and hour. He was taken to the Animal Referral Hospital where test were undertaken.

29 October 2015 - SE15 First branching

Twelve days after SE16, SE15 had his first venture from the nest, he jumped to the adjacent branch.

17 October 2015 - SE16 First branching

SE16 had her first venture from the nest, she jumped to the adjacent branch.

7 August 2015 - Second egg hatches

SE16 emerged with far less effort at 4:10pm 7 August 2015 only about 14 hours after SE15. This gives them both a very good chance of survival.

7 August 2015 - First egg hatches

The first pip was seen a 9:43am on 5 August 2015 as expected. The new little chick (SE15) worked hard all night to finally break free of its shell after a 42-hour epic battle, hatched at about 1:30am on the 7 August 2015.

30 June 2015 - Second egg laid

At 5:43am on the 30 June 2015 the female laid her second egg (SE16). If everything goes to plan they should hatch in 40 days.

26 June 2015 - First egg laid

At 11:38am on the 26 June 2015 the female laid her first egg for the 2015 season (SE15). If everything goes to plan a second egg should be arriving in just 3 days.

4 May 2015 - Cameras Installed

A full High Definition Pan Tilt Zoom camera has been installed in the nest tree. Looking south about three metres above the nest. The original camera from 2014 was repositioned higher and looking east south east.
